 Parent Council

Our Parent Council was set up in March 2017, with the aims of:-

  •        Building a positive relationship between parents and school
  •      Facilitating positive communication between parents and school
  •      Involving parents’ suggestions in decision-making about some aspects of school provision

We have a Parent Council Agreement that sets out the way the Council works.

The Council meets half-termly and each class has a Parent Council Rep. Any parent can email their class rep with items they want discussed at the forthcoming meeting, together with some information about their query or suggestion. The agenda is finalised a few days before the meeting.

Agendas and minutes of the Council Meetings will be published on the website and parents can also pick up a paper copy of the minutes from the School Office if they would prefer.

Our Class Reps are:-

Your Class Rep would love to hear your questions and ideas – please get in touch!

We look forward to developing the work of the Council and ensuring all parents have a voice at Ashingdon Academy.
